America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.
so here’s our favorite adoptive space dad Bail Organa in Revenge of the Sith:
and here he is in Rogue One:
meanwhile, here’s Obi-Wan in Revenge of the Sith:
and here he is after the exact same amount of time:
I’d like some of whatever Bail is having on Alderaan and exactly zero of what Obi-Wan is having on Tatooine
well one of them is the viceroy of alderaan and the other one is living as a hermit in space nevada, sorry that obi wan isn’t keeping up his moisturizing regimen on Planet Sand Hell while bail organa drinks kale smoothies in the shade
Conservatives have so much fucking nerve talking about how “ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS ARE OUT OF CONTROL” when absolutely no-one feels inconvenienced by them or has ever even encountered them in their personal lives unless they’re the CEO’s of a megaconglomerate bitter that they couldn’t rip up a national park and buy like their fifth house boat
Yeah, it’s literally the Kochs saying “It’s so UNFAIR that when the oil pipelines we own but don’t maintain bust and flood a town with toxic sludge, that WE have to pay to fix it.” and “An employee we forced to clean chemical storage tanks without the proper gear for 15 years developed cancer, and they’re allowed to sue us over it? TYRANNY!!”
How is it never occurred to me to put it like this before?
its because republicans/ceos have convinced a large majority of americans that corporations are not only living entities that need to be protected but also that they’re even more important than people
thor in high school, taking notes for his elective in the groot language in his college rule sparkly valkryie notebook that he bought at a bogo sale along with a pencil case that has the valkryie sword on it while he drinks green tea and listens to carly rae jepsen: ive said it before and ill say it again, loki, pep rallies arent lame
The Clone
Wars is officially back. We don’t know much about it yet but I’ve been seeing
some discourse about what we should expect and I’d like to offer some hopeful
facts :)
From what
we saw on the trailer these “new” episodes are actually the unfinished episodes
who never aired because Disney cancelled the show. So for the people fretting
this will be tainted by some of Disney’s recent bad decisions remember that these stories were written
and produced before Disney even bought star wars. About what we will
actually see, it’s impossible to know for sure right now but by the looks of if
The Bad Batch arc will be part of it which makes me believe this revival is disney finished the clones and not them make new episodes from scratch. And here is another friendly reminder of what Filoni was planning for the rest of the show
(hopefully we’ll see all or most of it):
Crystal Crisis On Utapau: Anakin + Obi-wan
The Bad Batch: clones + Anakin (scenes seen on trailer)
Dark Disciple: Ventress and Quinlan
Bounty Hunter: Bobba and Cad Bane team up
Ahsoka’s Walkabout: About Ahsoka’s life after
she left the Order.
Kashyyyk: Clones + Wookies
Rex and R2 Top Gun: “This was Top Gun with
clones. It was basically the army clones, the ground forces, got in an argument
with the pilots, and their astromechs got in an argument, R2 insulted the astromech,
and it became this thing where Rex ended up having to fly a fighter with R2 as
his copilot.“ Dave Filoni
Yuuzhan Vong: “The storyline really
played on the alien abduction vibe, it was almost like an X-Files episode of
Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Pablo Hidalgo
Return to the Jedi: Ahsoka discovers something
beneath the Jedi Temple and team up with Anakin and Obi-wan to help.
Return to Mon Cala: A Padmé centric Arc about
her trying to undermine Palpatine rise to power.
Siege Of Mandalore: The series finale. Ahsoka teams up with Anakin and Obi-wan again to
stop Maul and help Mandalore but grievous attacks Coruscant and kidnaps
Palpatine so they Ahsoka and Rex to deal with him as they go save the
Chancellor and start ROTS.
